As the first service provider in the Kingdom to use renewable energy sources for network powering, Zain Bahrain. After installing a new renewable power solution at one of its commercial 5G sites, Zain Bahrain teamed up with Rental Solutions and Services (RSS) to spread renewable power solutions to other 5G sites. Following the first success, the telecom now has ambitions to grow to new locations.

Zain Bahrain’s efforts towards Sustainability

Zain Bahrain’s attempts to achieve environmental sustainability have advanced significantly as a result of the new solution, which will lessen carbon emissions. The hybrid electrical power systems used in the renewable energy solution consist of solar panels, batteries, and generators. The telecom claims that this is the first time a service operator in the Kingdom of Bahrain has used such a solution.
