Bharat Bill Pay is now available for BSNL customers to utilize to recharge their phones (BBPS)

Because BSNL is the first mobile operator in the Prepaid Recharge category, it has been included to the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS). The Reserve Bank of India, or RBI, initiated a round in June 2021 with the express goal of expanding the coverage and insurance of the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) by allowing pay-as-you-go recharge to be classified as a biller category. Customers of BSNL pay-as-you-go mobile service may now easily recharge their phones using the BHIM UPI app thanks to this modern innovation.

With the help of the National Payments Corporation of India, the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) is an integrated online platform for application invoicing bills that is deployed. The Direct to Home (DTH), electricity, gas, telecom, and water bill categories are the five main bill types for which the Bharat Bill Payment System began operations in 2014. With the recently introduced mobile pay-as-you-go recharge feature, Bsnl will be able to effortlessly replace its current mobile pay-as-you-go recharge plans and make them available to all of its customers across hundreds of thousands of touchpoints, including apps, websites, and physical channels that can be enabled with Bharat BillPay.

We are excited to provide our services to clients all across the nation and are pleased to be the first biller in BBPS’s prepaid recharge category. Consumers may easily refill their prepaid BSNL mobile subscriptions through a number of sources.
