BSNL introduces free email address in eight Indian languages to achieve Digital India.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a government-run PSU, has introduced a Free E-Mail address in Eight Indian languages using Data Mail App for its broadband subscribers in all of the circles. BSNL is a key player in the government’s Digital India programme.

Internet users can now create a free email account with Data Mail, a BSNL service, in their native language. Anupam Shrivastava, Chairman and CEO, of BSNL, said: “Providing linguistic email addresses is a first-of-its-kind initiative in the world to realize our Prime Minister’s vision of a digital India.” In India, everyone now has a working email address, through which he can communicate with his neighbours in his own language.

For the multilingual email service offered by BSNL, email addresses will be accessible in eight regional languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Marathi. This information was given by Shri. N. K. Gupta, Director CFA, BSNL Board. On any Android or iOS smartphone, the proper app store will allow you to download Dada Mail for nothing.

How to acquire a free email account in your native language with the Data Mail App:

  • Customers of BSNL broadband can go the appropriate app store and download the free Data Mail app on any Android or iOS smartphone.
  • The language in which the user wants their email address to appear must be specified.
  • Also provide your cell phone number.
  • Select “I am a BSNL broadband customer” from the drop-down menu.
  • The STD code must be included in the BSNL broadband number.
  • The registered mobile phone number will receive an OTP.
  • Please enter the appropriate email address in your language.
  • Start utilizing your new email address and let your friends know about it.

As many nations wait to implement the linguistic email address to empower the non-English speaking population of the world, our entirely “made in India” software solution allowing Data Mail service is a revolution in the world. According to Shri Ajay Data, the founder and CEO of Data XGen, we are pleased to support Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s initiative for a “Digital India” by collaborating with BSNL, the nation’s strongest network telecom provider with connections to rural and distant locations.

The Indian government created the (Dot Bharat) domain in Indian languages to appeal to a wider range of internet users by providing domain names in their local tongues. This action was taken to provide coverage for the more than 70% of the people who reside in rural and remote areas. Since BSNL provides better service in rural and isolated areas of the country, millions of people in rural areas will surely benefit from the free linguistic email account. The Google Play Store and the Apple iTunes Store both provide the Data Mail App for FREE.

Please share your opinions about BSNL’s free regional language email ID in the comments area, dear readers. Does this genuinely help the government achieve its goals of making India digital?
