Exclusive: BSNL withdraws Plan Voucher 429 and reintroduces STV 429.

BSNL withdraws the existing prepaid Plan Voucher of Rs 429 from 30 August 2020.

As of today, August 30, 2020, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the discontinuation of the current Rs 429 Prepaid Plan Voucher.

The PSU has also opted to reintroduce the same deal as BSNL STV 429 without changing its freebies, according to the most recent information. Customers will be able to purchase the new BSNL Combo STV 429 starting on August 31, 2020. All telecom circles’ BSNL prepaid mobile users are subject to this rate change.

If a client uses more than 250 outgoing minutes [(Local + STD + Outgoing Roaming) (on-net/off-net) as per unlimited recharge advantages] in a day, Base Plan Tariff will be applied after 250 minutes have been used for the remainder of the day till 0:00 a.m. The subscriber will be charged for outgoing calls to premium lines, IN numbers, international numbers, and other charging short codes, as well as for any SMS advantages (if any) provided under this voucher prevailing prices for the same.

The mentioned services may only be used personally with this coupon. If misuse, fraud, unlawful telemarketing, or commercial use is detected, BSNL retains the right to immediately terminate service. Free advantages that have not been used will be lost when the plan’s current recharge expires. BSNL first introduced this Plan Voucher 429 as a promotional deal, with the exception of Kerala Circle, as we reported in September 2017. But later, the similar program was also offered in Kerala due to rising customer demand for data-centric prepaid cell contracts.

Below is a list of some of the most recent deals made public by BSNL in August 2020 for your fast reference: –

  • New Combo STV 49 from BSNL offers 100 minutes of voice calls, 100 SMS, and 2GB of free internet for 28 days.
  • Beginning on September 1, 2020, BSNL will provide a new yearly unlimited prepaid cellphone plan called “Bindas Bol 1499” for all of India.
  • BSNL Onam Offer 2020: Get an additional 240 rupees in talk time by topping up with 220 rupees from August 24 to September 6, 2020
  • For prepaid cellphone users who choose the advance multi-recharge option, BSNL offered 5GB of free data.
  • All prepaid mobile users will be able to get Sunday Full Talk Time with a Top Up of $100 from BSNL.
  • On a PAN India basis, BSNL will discontinue the yearly prepaid mobile plan for Rs. 1699 and convert STV 399 to Plan Voucher 399.
  • The brand-new Prepaid Mobile Plan for BSNL’s 2399 offers unlimited voice minutes.

Top-up recharge services for GP-2 (Grace Priod-2) customers are being discontinued.

In addition, the PSU has also announced the withdrawal of Top-up recharge facility to GP-II Customers in all Plans with effect from 30-08-2020 on wards. Now, customers in Grace Period-2 need to recharge their number with any of the existing Plan Vouchers to retain his/her number. Normal top up will not increase plan validity.
