BSNL to offer 5GB free trial plan to existing customers.

BSNL is offering a 5GB Free Trial Plan to existing landline customers to enjoy unlimited broadband with 10 Mbps download speed.

For all current fixed line customers who do not have internet access, BSNL, the largest fixed-line provider in India, has chosen to provide a new broadband promotional offer called the “5GB Free Trial Plan.”

According to the most recent information, the new free trial plan will be available beginning on March 1 and will be available to current landline users through March 31, 2018. A subscriber may use unlimited broadband with 10 Mbps download speeds up to 5GB per day before dropping to 1 Mbps.

Only current landline users will have access to the “5GB Free Trial Plan”. The plan item, however, is accessible for one month following the activation date. With this plan, the user is granted free access to 150 GB of high-speed internet with a 10 Mbit/s bandwidth.

With the exception of A&N Circle, all current landline customers in all circles will receive BSNL’s new promotional standalone Broadband package, “5GB Free Trial,” for free.

Conditions for supplying the aforementioned broadband plan:

  • From March 1 to March 31, 2019, the aforementioned package will be offered on a promotional basis to all Circles (apart from A&N Circle) for current BSNL landline (i.e., non-broadband) subscribers only. However, the plan’s feature will only be available for one month after it was activated.
  • Security fees and installation fees are exempt during the promotional period.
  • The aforementioned package will not be offered via FTTH.
  • The customer must possess the customer premise equipment (CPE) and modem.
  • Existing clients under the aforementioned package will be switched over to normal Broadband plans when the promotional time expires.
  • After the promotional period has expired, customers who did not choose a standard DSL or FTTH broadband plan at the time of CAF filing will be automatically transferred to the “BB BSNL CUL” broadband plan.

The aforementioned broadband package may also be subscribed to by contacting the toll-free number 1800 345 1500, in addition to the nearby customer care center and BSNL Franchisee/Retailers.
