For connections to virtual landlines under the Aseem Plan, BSNL changed its rates.

BSNL revises tariff for virtual landline connections.

The price for virtual landline calls on BSNL’s Aseem All Circles plan has changed, according to India’s largest landline provider.

Customers can obtain a virtual landline number in their name as part of the Aseem package, and any incoming calls to this number will be redirected to the customer’s given number. As of right now, BSNL has altered the cost of a virtual landline number to Rs 99 for six months (if the destination number is another BSNL number) and Rs 199 for six months (if it is not).

An Official statement regarding the revision in tariff for virtual landline connection read as follows:

The modification of the price for “Virtual” Landline connections under Plan “ASEEM” on a PAN India basis has been authorized by the Competent Authority. Here are the specifics:

  • Call diversion from ‘Virtual’ landline number to any one BSNL number of subscriber choice @ Rs.99/- per six month.
  • Call diversion from ‘Virtual’ landline number to any one other network’s number of subscriber choice @ Rs.199/- per six month.

The same other rules and regulations will apply. The aforementioned guidelines will be in force in all telecom circles as of July 15, 2018. To offer a consumer with a virtual landline connection, neither copper cable nor FTTH are necessary. Customers who want to use this service can pay the half-yearly fees in advance of Rs 99 or Rs 199. After five months, new invoices will be created and sent to the customer’s address.
