BSNL now offers a Virtual Landline Connection in its ‘ASEEM’ plan for at Rs 99 per year, along with free unlimited call forwarding.

BSNL introduces Virtual Landline Connection for PAN India.

The largest landline service provider in India, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), today announced the rollout of Virtual Landline Connection throughout the country.

Customers can choose a landline number (fixed line indication) under the new scheme, and all incoming calls to that number will be automatically and at no additional cost forwarded to one of the subscriber’s chosen network numbers. Per landline number, there is an annual fee of just Rs 99.

Customers can pay the Rs 99 annual cost beforehand if they want to use this service. A charge for the next year may be generated and delivered to the customer’s address after 11 months. Copper cable or FTTH are not required nor helpful in providing a customer with a virtual telephone connection. As of July 18, 2017, all circles have access to BSNL Virtual Landline Connection under the “ASEEM” program.

To apply for a BSNL Virtual Landline Connection, a customer should go to the client service center that is most convenient for them. The customer is free to select any landline number (other than vanity numbers).
