Beginning on December 1st, 2016, all of BSNL’s circles will offer “Broadband Only” unlimited internet plans without voice capabilities. Customers will only have access to these plans in locations where BSNL is unable to offer voice facilities.

BSNL announced “Broadband only” DSL plans (without voice facility) as a special offer for 90 days from 01 August 2016 to 29 October 2016, as we previously reported. The BSNL administration have decided to make these plans a regular offer for clients in all BSNL telecom circles based on the feedback from customers and field units. The BBO ULD 799, BBO ULD 949, BBO ULD 1199, and BBO ULD 1449 are among the BSNL Broadband only plans.

Broadband Only Unlimited Internet plans from BSNL will be a regular offer starting on December 1, 2016, in all BSNL telecom circles.

The concerned BSNL telecom circle must make sure that only locations where BSNL is unable to provide voice service are provided the aforementioned “Broadband only” contracts. The aforementioned plans must be provided on FTTH (fiber broadband) with the same tariff as all DSL plans are already available there. Other terms and conditions will not change at all. These guidelines shall be followed regularly in all Circles beginning on December 1, 2016, with effect.
