From May 1 to May 31, 2017, BSNL will improve the download speed of their Unlimited WiMAX Broadband plans by up to 3 Mbps across all circles.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), India’s largest fixed line broadband provider and the country’s main telecom backbone, has decided to increase the download speed (bandwidth) of certain of its unlimited WiMax internet plans from 1 Mbps to 3 Mbps starting on May 1.

According to the most recent information, all current and future WiMAX Broadband customers in all circles will receive revised bandwidth for the unlimited WiMAX Business plans BUWI UL 2199, BUWI UL 2199A (12-month plan), BUWI UL 3850, BUWI UL 3850 A (6-month plan), BUWI UL 7700, and BUWI UL 7700A (6-month plan).

revised download speed starting on May 1, 2017, for BSNL WiMAX broadband plans.

The rest of the terms and conditions will not change. These changes to download speed and bandwidth will take effect across the board on May 1st, 2017. In regions where copper cable cannot be used to provide broadband internet connection, BSNL’s WiMAX (Wireless Broadband) service is highly helpful. Due to the fact that BSNL WiMAX uses a wireless medium, the service is unaffected by nearby road construction or deteriorated copper cable.

As we previously reported, starting on March 1st, 2017, BSNL already quadrupled the download speed of a few chosen Unlimited WiMax internet plans for Home Users. Details are provided below:
