BSNL has extended its offer of free and unlimited nightly calls to retired BSNL employees..

BSNL extends Unlimited Free Night Calling Offer to retired employees.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the largest wireline service provider in India, has decided to extend the Unlimited Free Night Calling Offer to retired BSNL Employees as well.

According to the most recent information, retired BSNL employees with discounted phone service can make unlimited free local and long distance calls to any network every night from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. On Sundays, however, they are not eligible to take advantage of 24 Hours of Unlimited Free Calls.

As we previously reported in April 2015, BSNL began offering unlimited free night calls to its landline and broadband users on May 1st without imposing any new fees or raising the monthly cost. The program gained traction among the nation’s landline consumers, and later other private fixed-line carriers also began providing Unlimited Free Calls.

Later, on August 15, 2016, BSNL released the Freedom Offer: True Unlimited Voice Calls from a BSNL Landline to Any Network on Every Sunday, again at no extra cost to consumers. On the same day, or on August 15, 2015, BSNL released a new Landline Plan at a low monthly rental of Rs 49 in an effort to attract as many new landline users as possible. By paying a monthly leasing fee of just Rs 49/-, a client can use the Landline 49 plan to make 24 Hours of Unlimited Free Calls on all Sundays and Unlimited Free Night Calls (from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am) on all other days. On September 9, 2016, BSNL unveiled a new, intriguing Unlimited Broadband Plan at a price of Rs 249/-. This program was also started in an effort to resurrect the landline/broadband division of BSNL.
