With effect from December 1, 2016, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), India’s sole supplier of WiMax broadband services, has increased the monthly fees for postpaid WiMax broadband plans on a PAN India basis.

According to the most recent information, all existing and new WiMax Broadband users across all circles are subject to the amended rate plans. As a result of the altered monthly costs, fees under the Annual, Two Years, and Three Years payment choices were also adjusted.

Existing customers, however, who were already enrolled in a six-month, annual, two-year, or three-year payment option or plan prior to the modification in the tariff, may not be charged the increased tariff until their current six-month, annual, two-year, or three-year subscription has expired. The rest of the terms and conditions will not change. These guidelines will take effect in all circles on December 1, 2016.
