According to the Latest Information BSNL will reduce normal and micro-SIM fees across the board on May 26th to Rs 15/-.

BSNL slashes sale price/replacement charges of SIM cards to Rs 15/-.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a PAN-India 3G service provider, has made the decision to reduce the sale price / replacement costs of Prepaid and Postpaid Normal / Micro SIM rates to Rs 15/- with effect from May 26th, 2017, in all circles.

The price for 32K to 128K Normal SIM, Micro SIM, and Repluggable (Normal+Micro) SIM will be reduced from Rs 20/- to Rs 15/-. The price of a 256K SIM Card (Normal, Micro, Nano, or Repluggable) remains unchanged at Rs 100.

For consumers of both prepaid and postpaid mobile services, BSNL revised the sale price (replacement charges) of SIM cards.

Postpaid connections’ activation fees and selling prices would not change. The rest of the fees and terms would stay the same. The aforementioned rate will go into effect on May 26, 2017, throughout all of India. The aforementioned SIM charges are also applicable to new customers because, in the case of prepaid customers, the first expenses also comprise the Plan Voucher Charges + SIM Card expenses. Existing BSNL Mobile users may exchange their outdated SIM cards for more memory-friendly ones by presenting identification at the local BSNL Customer Service Center (BSNL CSC).
