Beginning in January 2021, BSNL will provide partners and resellers who sell SIM cards an alluring bonus program of up to 50,000.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) today announced the introduction of a lucrative Bonus Scheme for its Channel Partners, including all of India’s Direct Selling Agents (DSA), Franchisees, Retailers (PoS – Point of Sale), and Rural Distributors. Based on their success, franchisees and SIM-selling PoS are given a one-time incentive under this most recent program.

BSNL Rural Distributors (BRDs) are also eligible for the BSNL Bonus Scheme for Channel Partners. Beginning in January 2021 and lasting for three months, the bonus program will be in effect. According to their category, BSNL will review the performance of franchisees and PoS, and bonuses would only be provided to those who were able to maintain or increase their performance from the previous month.

In a formal statement on the launch of the Special Bonus Scheme, BSNL stated the following:

The competent authority’s consent is now communicated in order to encourage channel partners to enhance SIM sales and income over the three-month period from January to March 2021.
About the introduction of an incentive system to award franchisees and SIM selling PoS a one-time incentive in accordance with the details provided below.

Franchisee and Point of Sale Bonus Program for BSNL from January to March 2021

Bonuses of Rs. 1,500, Rs. 1,000, Rs. 500, and Rs. 200 are given, respectively, for the Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and Silver categories of SIM selling PoS (including DSAs).
Bonuses of Rs.50,000, Rs.25,000, Rs.10,000, and Rs.5,000 are given to franchisees in the Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and Silver categories, respectively (also applicable to BRD).
The bonus scheme will be in effect for three months, with the preceding month’s category serving as the reference; for example, in January 2021, the reference will be December 2020, in February 2021, January 2021, and in March 2021, February 2021.
If the category is kept, the bonus for channel partners in the Diamond category will be 100%; if the category is downgraded, no bonus will be given.
Channel partners in the Platinum category will get a bonus of 50% if the category is maintained and 100% if it is not.
