According to the most recent information, all current and new users of the “BSNL Sulabh Plan” and “BSNL Aseem Virtual Landline Plan” are subject to the modification in monthly rent.

BSNL today announced the revision in fixed monthly charges under certain PAN India landline plans with immediate effect in all the circles.

India’s largest fixed-line operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), today widely announced a change to fixed monthly tariffs for some PAN India fixed-line tariffs, effective immediately. According to current information, the monthly rent change applies to all existing and new customers of the “BSNL Sulabh Plan” and “BSNL Aseem Virtual Fest line Plan”.

The Sulabh Plan’s (SULAB-LL-WITH-OUTGOING) monthly rent has been raised from Rs 120 to Rs 150. The Aseem Virtual Landline Plan’s monthly rent has changed from Rs 199 for 6 months to Rs 199 for 4 months (LL VIRTUAL 199 ASEEM). All telecom circles will immediately begin using the revised pricing.

This change will take effect for current customers whose subscriptions are currently Annual/Two Year/Three Year once their current Annual/Two Year/Three Year subscription expires. Additionally, current customers who recently chose the aforementioned plans under the monthly payment option may not be charged the new FMC (Fixed Monthly Charge) until the end of the six-month subscription period after the day that their landline connection was activated. The rest of the terms and conditions will not change. The aforementioned directives must be followed immediately and consistently in all relevant circles.

As we previously reported, BSNL has already updated its landline and broadband tariff plans, taking effect on a PAN India basis on August 1, 2020. For these two programs, the tariff revision order was not, however, made public at that time. BSNL management have now decided to adjust the pricing for the Sulabh Plan (SULABH-LL-WITH-OUTGOING) and Aseem Virtual Landline Plan (LL VIRTUAL 199 ASEEM) in response to field units’ inquiries.

What is BSNL Sulabh Plan?

A unique landline plan from BSNL is called Sulabh. In the typical Sulabh plan (SULAB-LL-WITH-INCOMING-ONLY), BSNL will only offer the ability to make incoming calls. This implies that clients cannot use the BSNL Sulabh Plan to make outbound calls. Customers who often utilize landline service to receive incoming calls are a good fit for this package. Sulabh plan (SULAB-LL-WITH-OUTGOING) with outgoing call capability is also offered by BSNL. The Sulabh Plan could not include any free calls. All outgoing calls will be charged to the customer at the rate of Rs 1.2/MCU (for all networks).

What is the Virtual Landline Plan (BSNL Aseem Plan)?

Customers can purchase a BSNL landline number and, for a small fee, have all incoming calls to that number automatically redirected to any one mobile number on any network using BSNL’s virtual landline connection. Instead of installing a physical landline connection at your location, BSNL will route and send all incoming calls to your landline number to your mobile phone. Customers may choose to have their mobile number from BSNL or another network. Below are the BSNL Virtual Landline Plan ASEEM’s tariff details:

1.Call diversion from ‘Virtual’ landline number to any one BSNL number of subscriber’s choice @ Rs.99/- for 4 months.
2.Call diversion from ‘Virtual’ landline number to any one other network’s number of subscriber’s choice @ Rs.199/- for 4 months

Customers of BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) receive the Free Aseem Plan.

Customers of BSNL Landline who switch to BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) can also take advantage of BSNL’s Free Aseem Plan. Customers who choose the BSNL FTTH service are able to keep their existing landline number under the Aseem Plan. In this case, a client can keep their current landline number and all incoming calls would be immediately forwarded to their new VoIP number from BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH). Customers of BSNL can use this free ASEEM Plan from anywhere in India.
