BSNL changes ISD pricing for Belgium, Oman, Gambia, Niue, and Mexico.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the country’s largest telecom operator, has chosen to alter the ISD rate for Belgium, Oman, the Gambia, Niue, and Mexico, effective December 23, 2016.

Plans with a 60 second pulse length, MCU-based plans (metered call units), and ISD PCOs are all covered under the updated ISD calling price. According to the most recent adjustments to international carrier fees and changes in dollar prices, BSNL will be modifying the ISD cost. The PSU will be updating the current pricing once the carrier costs are more than 80% of the ISD rate.

Belgium, Oman, the Gambia, Niue, and Mexico will have a revised ISD tariff starting on December 23rd, 2016, and going forward.

The Niue & Mexico destination charge base would also be revised, according to the BSNL authorities. The charging of the aforementioned nations should be done in increments of 60 (sixty) seconds, with a 60 (sixty) second minimum. Below is a list of nation and area code information.

The updated ISD pricing will go into effect across all circles on December 23, 2016. Other pertinent terms and conditions are unaltered. Subscribers will promptly get an SMS alerting them of the new pricing.
