VNL and BSNL successfully deployed a solar-powered communications network in 10 states in record time to accelerate development in the Red Corridor.

A communications network has been successfully deployed by Vihaan Networks Limited (VNL) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) in left-wing extremist hotspots. According to a press statement from VNL, this public-private cooperation project is the biggest solar-powered installation in the world. VNL was presented with a plaque and a completion certificate for the accomplishment by Communication Minister Shri Manoj Sinha.

As part of a significant push to accelerate development in the Red Corridor, the deployment was completed across 10 states in record time, according to Minister Sinha. In less than 18 months, the business claimed to have achieved the goal by using technology that was created and produced locally. For a period of five years, it will assume management of the system.

Anupam Shrivastava, CMD of BSNL, commented on the move and said that India has the second-largest mobile subscriber base in the world. The government has accelerated telecom sector changes, and we are continuing to take the initiative to support the union government’s agenda of “Make in India and Digital India.” VNL has made a significant contribution to this effort by finishing the project in a record amount of time.
