According to the most recent information, business communication requires registration on the BSNL DLT Portal.

Business entities must register on BSNL DLT portal to send commercial communication.

All business organizations that wish to deliver their consumers commercial communications must register as Principal organizations in compliance with Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) standards known as TCCCPR 2018. required on https://www.ucc-bsnl.co.in/, the BSNL DLT portal

Along with call and SMS content templates, all headers, SMS sender IDs, and numbers from which they intend to send commercial communications must be registered. Commercial communication that is not registered and that does not use the allocated headers may be in violation of TRAI rules. The portal allows for the submission of all currently held subscriber consents as well as the beginning of the consent acquisition and validation process. All future consents will only be acquired, confirmed, and digitally documented.

Before being forwarded to subscribers, any commercial message will be pre-verified with their preferences and/or consent. All of these steps will preserve the integrity and purity of the commercial communications that senders deliver to their subscribers. All the existing and new business entities who wish to use Bulk SMS / OBD (Out Bound dialling) should register in BSNL DLT portal as Principal entity to comply with TRAI’s TCCCPR 2018 guidelines.
