According to the most recent information, SLT-Mobitel has chosen NetCracker Digital BSS as their billing unification platform.

Netcracker Digital BSS will enable SLT-MOBITEL to create a unified billing platform.

SLT-MOBITEL, a supplier of ICT solutions in Sri Lanka, has partnered with Netcracker Technology to integrate its billing system for better fixed, mobile, and online charging capabilities utilizing Netcracker Digital BSS and Professional Services.

For the implementation of their Digital Business Support Systems (BSS) and Professional Services, Netcracker Technology has teamed with Slt-Mobitel, the national provider of ICT solutions in Sri Lanka. The effort intends to modernize the company’s fixed, mobile, and internet charging capabilities while also consolidating its billing systems.

Unify billing platform with Netcracker Digital BSS

Slt-Mobitel will be able to consolidate its IT infrastructure and align its numerous brands with Netcracker’s technology in order to support its ongoing expansion. For real-time charging and billing solutions for clients, the telecom provider will leverage many parts of Netcracker Digital BSS, such as Revenue Management and Online Charging System, to develop a uniform billing platform across all of its brands.

Slt-Mobitel to reuse existing functional components

With the BSS update, Slt-Mobitel will be able to reuse current functional components to shorten time to market, give a 360-degree perspective for a better customer experience, and provide the groundwork for future fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) to produce better solutions. End-to-end implementation and post-production support will be provided by Netcracker’s Professional Services.

Netcracker says, “Creating a unified platform will streamline Slt-Mobitel’s billing and improve the customer experience while setting the stage for future capabilities and an even wider variety of advanced products and services.”
