BSNL extends promotional Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Broadband plans for 90 days.

In all telecom circuits with the exception of Andaman & Nicobar Telecom Wheels, BSNL has announced the extension of its Bharat Fiber Broadband (FTTH) promotional plans for an extra 90 days, i.e., till October 6, 2021. The Fiber Basic 449 INR, Fiber Value 799 INR, Fiber Premium 999 INR, and Ultra Fiber 1499 INR promotional plans for BSNL FTTH (Bharat Fiber) have been added to the list of plans.

The Fibre Basic $449 plan is the only one of these 4 promotional plans that is available nationwide without any limits, whereas the Fibre Value $799, Fibre Premium 999, and Fibre Ultra $1499 plans are only offered to clients in a few chosen cities. As a result, these three tariffs are only offered in particular regions of India where BSNL is up against fierce competition from other commercial FTTH providers like Reliance Jio, Airtel, etc. The list of these chosen cities has now been updated by BSNL officials to include other locations.

On BSNL Foundation Day in the year 2020, BSNL originally introduced these promotional FTTH plans in a few cities. Later, in November 2020, December 2020, and January 2021, BSNL officials expanded these plans to other locations based on the rising demand from customers in other towns and circles. The 3 unique FTTH plans – Fiber Value 799, Fiber Premium 999, and Fiber Ultra 1499 – are now being made available to all subscribers in the Himachal Pradesh telecom circle by BSNL. Additionally, the telecom circles in Maharashtra and Karnataka have added new cities.

These updated locations will be in force starting on July 2, 2021. These places are eligible for BSNL’s Ultra Fast 300Mbps FTTH Broadband service.

Bharat Fiber Welcome Offers (Introductory Plans)

The initial Bharat Fiber Plans from BSNL, Fibre Basic 449 and Fiber Basic Plus 599, are now accessible nationwide. While the Fiber Basic Plus 599 plan offers 60 Mbps download speed up to 3.3TB of use, the Fiber Basic 449 plan has a maximum download speed of 30 Mbps. Both options provide 2Mbps post FUP internet speed and cost-free unlimited phone calls to any network.
Before, Fiber Basic 449 clients of BSNL FTTH would often be changed to Fiber Basic Plus 599 customers after six months. The automatic plan upgrade after six months has now been removed by BSNL, and consumers may stay with the same 449 plan as long as they are so like.
