According to the most recent information, BSNL will begin offering 300Mbps Combo Fibre (FTTH) plans for esteemed Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members on August 1st, 2021.

BSNL these days introduced the release of Special Combo Fibre (FTTH) plans of landline

For honourable MPs of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, BSNL has announced the launching of Special Combo Fibre (FTTH) plans that include landline and internet service in full. Up till this point, BSNL has moved to educating MPs on my own broadband and landline rate offerings. In accordance with this cutting-edge change to the tariff, BSNL has created special Combo plans that package internet and telephone services.

As we previously said in April 2021, BSNL first provided BAF and FTTH connections to MPs of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha through franchisees and telecom infrastructure providers (TIPs, LCOs, and MSOs). Previously, the special plans were immediately available through BSNL alone. If BSNL’s copper or fiber network isn’t always accessible (or is no longer practical), the services can also be obtained through BSNL’s authorized franchisees or TIPs.

With effect from 1 August 2021, new combo FTTH broadband and landline plans will be made available to distinguished MPs of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha (available in all telecom circles).

The Fibre extension charges and Modem charges as payable to TIPs by customers should be included in the first bill of the honourable MPs, which shall be paid by the respective Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha Secretariats up to MPs available quotas, if the connections are provided by TIPs/LCOs/MSOs.

The following terms and conditions apply to the delivery of Bharat Fibre (FTTH) and Bharat Air Fiber (BAF) broadband plans using TIPs: –

A) The initial billing for the aforementioned service will include administrative fees of 10% at the value of ONT/CPE (that must be supplied/mounted using TIPs for Hon’ble MPs Air Fiber connections). These fees are in addition to the ONT/CPE costs. In this regard, the circle-clever value of ONT/CPE will be configured in CDR periodically by the use of ITPC and circle coordination.
b) The set-up fee as determined by case-to-case basis will be established in CDR by way of ITPC with the collaboration of circles in order to provide a Bharat Air Fiber Broadband connection. The fee will also be assessed within the initial invoice.
c) Honourable Members of Parliament may receive a landline plan on Bharat Air Fiber under plan LL SANSAD 329. To access this feature, an IP-enabled mobile phone is required. Bharat Air Fiber is used to deliver voice services. Customers of BSNL’s Bharat Air Fiber must purchase the exact same IP mobile phone devices from the open market or BSNL’s Bharat Air Fiber Channel Partners because BSNL doesn’t always provide them.
