According to the most recent information, BSNL has introduced new unlimited FTTH internet options to take on Jio.

BSNL launches new unlimited FTTH plans in October 2020.

Finally, BSNL has made formal announcements about the debut of its much awaited New Unlimited Bharat Fiber (FTTH) internet packages, “Fiber Basic,” “Fiber Value,” “Fiber Premium,” and “Fiber Ultra,” which are being made available as a promotional offer to all BSNL customers who have FTTH in India.

These brand-new, blazing-fast Bharat Fiber (FTTH) internet services from BSNL were introduced in an effort to rival Reliance Jio’s newly revealed pricing. Airtel reduced its previous price rates to compete with Jio Fiber offerings shortly after Jio Fiber’s announcement. The new BSNL plans are accessible to all customers in all circles with the exception of Andaman & Nicobar.

The GST is not included in the above costs. Only some cities provide the aforementioned plans. The BSNL Corporate Office will provide a separate list of these cities. For a promotional period of 90 days beginning on January 10, 2020, these instructions will be in force in all circles (apart from the A&N circle).

[Update on 29 September 2020]: According to the most recent information, all of the aforementioned plans (Fiber Basic, Fiber Value, Fiber Premium, and Fiber Ultra) would be first offered in urban areas in the districts of Trivandrum and Ernakulam in Kerala Circle.

‘Fibre Premium’ and ‘Fibre Ultra’ Bharat Fibre plans are provided subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • Bundled ‘Disney+Hotstar’ premium plan subscription will be discontinued, in case subscriber opts out from above plans ‘Fibre Premium’ & ‘Fibre Ultra’. ‘Disney+Hotstar’ premium plan subscription will not be provided on migration to other broadband plans except ‘SuperStar300’ and ‘Super Star 500’.
  • The revenue share with ‘Disney+Hotstar’ service Provider shall be shared as per agreement.
  • When BSNL’s partners (TIPs/’Local MSO/LCO operators & TIPs/RWAs/Builders’) purchase connections under the aforementioned broadband plans, the incentive amount will be provided after deducting the revenue share of the ‘Disney+Hotstar’ Service Provider.

BSNL Bharat Fiber Basic Plan 449

The BSNL Bharat Fiber Basic plan would provide download speeds of 2 Mbps after 3300 GB of use and 30 Mbps up to 3300 GB. Rent will be Rs 449 per month (plus GST). Additionally, customers may make unlimited free voice calls to any network. No OTT subscription will be offered by BSNL as part of the 449 package. The BSNL Bharat Fiber Basic plan would provide 2Mbps download speed after FUP, which is faster than Jio Fiber and Airtel Fiber. In comparison to Jio Fiber and Airtel Fiber, the installation costs for BSNL Bharat Fiber are also reasonable.

BSNL Bharat Fiber Value Plan 799

The BSNL Bharat Fiber Value plan offers 2Mbps download speed after 3300GB of usage and 100Mbps download speed up to 3300GB. Rent will be Rs 799 per month (plus GST). Additionally, customers may make unlimited free voice calls to any network. No OTT subscription will be offered by BSNL as part of the 799 package. The BSNL Bharat Fiber Basic plan would provide 2Mbps download speed after FUP, which is faster than Jio Fiber and Airtel Fiber. In comparison to Jio Fiber and Airtel Fiber, the installation costs for BSNL Bharat Fiber are also reasonable.

BSNL Bharat Fiber Premium Plan 999

The BSNL Bharat Fiber Premium package would provide download speeds of 200 Mbps up to 3300 GB and 2 Mbps after 3300 GB of use. The monthly rent will be Rs 999 (plus GST). Additionally, customers may make unlimited free voice calls to any network. The following OTT services are available to customers for free: Star Plus, Star Jalsha, Star Vijay, Star Bharat, Asianet, Star Maa, Asianet Plus, Star Suvarna, Maa Gold, Star Utsav, HBO, National Geography, etc. The BSNL Bharat Fiber Premium package would provide 2Mbps download speed after FUP, which is faster than Jio Fiber and Airtel Fiber. In comparison to Jio Fiber and Airtel Fiber, the installation costs for BSNL Bharat Fiber are also reasonable.

BSNL Bharat Fiber Ultra Plan 1499

BSNL Bharat Fiber Ultra plan will offer 300Mbps download speed upto 4000GB and 4Mbps download speed after 4000 GB of usage. Monthly rental would be Rs 1499/- (GST extra). Customers can also enjoy free unlimited voice calls to any network. Customers can enjoy free OTT subscription which includes – Star Plus, Star Jalsha, Star Vijay, Star Bharat, Asianet, Star Maa, Asianet Plus, Star Suvarna, Maa Gold, Star Utsav, HBO, National Geography etc. As compared to Jio Fiber and Airtel Fiber, BSNL Bharat Fiber Basic plan will offer 4Mbps download speed after FUP. BSNL Bharat Fiber Installation charges are also cheap as compared to Jio Fiber and Airtel Fiber.

In addition to nearest customer service center and BSNL Franchisee/Retailers, above FTTH Broadband (Bharat Fiber) plans can also be subscribed by calling BSNL Toll Free number – 1800 345 1500. Customers can also book their new BSNL FTTH connection online either through BSNL Book My Fiber Portal or My BSNL mobile app. Connection will be provided by BSNL directly or through BSNL’s authorized FTTH partner in your area. Customers can select any of the existing BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) plans or the newly announced Bharat Fiber plans as per their choice.
