As Per Latest Information BSNL launches e-auction of Fancy and Vanity Mobile Numbers to make them available to customers.

BSNL e-Auction of Fancy Mobile Numbers : October 2020 (from 09-10-2020 to 16-10-2020)

From October 9 to October 16, 2020, the BSNL Kerala Telecom Circle will hold a “e-Auction of Fancy and Vanity Mobile Numbers” over the internet at Sequential mobile phone numbers, sometimes known as vanity, fancy, or premium numbers, are up for grabs in an online auction.

Customers can place bids on certain premium lines online or by SMS (only from a BSNL GSM mobile phone). The registration and participation procedures for e-auctions are quite quick and simple.

BSNL wants to provide a platform so that clients who are more interested in Fancy may access these Premium lines. Numbers. These numbers have been pooled for auction because of the astronomically high demand, giving everyone the chance to participate in the auction on this website and win the number of their choice. Overall, the public may understand more about our priceless services thanks to our website’s transparent atmosphere.

Who can participate in the e-auction?

BSNL plans to hold an electronic auction for the allocation of vanity numbers in the appropriate licensed service area, which includes related Telecom Circle consumers.

The vanity number will be given to the successful bidder. This vanity number will be in the Corresponding Licensed Service Area (which includes the Corresponding Telecom circle) and will have all the services listed in the plan, including SMS, Data, ISD, and International Roaming, at the BSNL’s advertised fee.
The prospective customers, firms, or corporations must be Indian nationals or firms with Indian registrations.

A Certificate of Incorporation with a copy of the articles and the memorandum of association must be included with the bid for corporations or enterprises.

The most recent version of the income tax return form should be presented by the prospective customers, firms, or enterprises.

Each subscriber is required to provide address confirmation and identification proof in accordance with BSNL regulations.

How to Register in the Online Portal?

Customers must visit to register; registration on the portal is free.
The user can choose the number of his choosing and register it by paying the registration cost of Rs. 150 (Rupees One Hundred Fifty Only), which is non-refundable.
Each vanity number costs money. The registration charge will be withdrawn from pre-Paid customers’ talk balance and added to post-paid customers’ subsequent bills.

How do I take part in the fancy/premium number auction?

Customers may engage in the bidding process for certain premium numbers online or by SMS (only from BSNL GSM mobile phones).

Participate in the Premium Number Auction Through SMS:

Send SMS REGVAN for normal Registration to 56666. Normal Registration will be charged @Rs.3/-.


To know the
VANITY numbers list, Send SMS: VLIST < PATTERN> to 56666. Eg: VLIST KL 11111
to 56666. Rs.3/- will be charged for the above SMS.


(A) Send SMS CHOICE10 digit cell phone number to find out the greatest offer for your desired number.

  1. Eg: CHOICE 9495111111 to 56666. Rs.3/- will be charged for the above SMS.
    Send an SMS to enter the bidding process for a vanity or premium number. CHOICE<10-digit mobile number>Y to
  2. Eg: CHOICE 9495111111
    Y to 56666. (The aforesaid SMS will be charged Rs. 150. The consumer may now bid on the above-mentioned registered number.)
    (C) Send the SMS CHOICE10 digit mobile number AMOUNT to 56666 to place a bid on a vanity number. For instance: CHOOSE 9495111111 22000 to 56666. (To place a Rs. 22000/- bid for the cell phone number 9495111111) The aforesaid SMS will be charged Rs.3/-.

Taking part in the Premium Number Auction online (Requires Mozilla or Google Chrome)

  • Visit and register (Initial registration is free)
  • Customer can register through “Login / Register” link – login with mobile number & e-mail id – Customer will get Password via SMS & e-mail after successful registration.
  • To continue, the customer must click “Login” while entering the password they were sent and accepting the terms and conditions.
  • Note: The registration fee and incremental value are identical to those for SMS-based auctions.
  • All payment should be done online.
  • The consumer can bid for that specific number after paying the registration fees under the “My Bid Status” section.


The First Highest Bidder “H1” will be given a PIN through text message that will allow him to contact the closest CSC. After paying the bid money and plan fees, the consumer can join within five business days of receiving the PIN.

The number will be made available to the second-highest bidder (H2) at the same time as the pin is issued to the first highest bidder (H1) if the first highest bidder fails to deposit the bid money within five working days of notification H1 cost.

The number will be made available to the third highest bidder (H3) at the same H1 price if the second highest bidder fails to deposit the bid amount within 5 working days of notification.
