BSNL has announced the launch of Prepaid International Roaming Service in UK (United Kingdom), Canada, Belarus and Austria for its customers in Kerala Circle with effect from 9th October 2020.

For its users in the Kerala Circle, BSNL has announced the commencement of Prepaid International Roaming Service in the UK (United Kingdom), Canada, Belarus, and Austria, effective October 9, 2020.

Through partner networks, including M/s Hutchison 3G of the United Kingdom, M/s Freedom of Canada, M/s BTN of Belarus, and M/s Hutchison of Austria, the service is made accessible. Now, BSNL prepaid mobile users traveling to these nations can benefit from the worldwide roaming service provided by these partner networks.

The most recent list of BSNL’s international roaming destinations is as of 10/10/2020.

The prepaid international roaming service from BSNL is now accessible for 77 networks across 56 nations. Additionally, BSNL offers Post-paid International Roaming for 76 networks across 195 nations. IR STV 168 offers 90 days of validity, but IR STV 58 only provides 30. After the expiration of one of these two IR STVs, a consumer can recharge.

  • Restart your phone, once you land abroad.
  • Manually search and select the network operator.
  • Whenever not in use, switch off “Mobile Data.”
  • IR STV 58 has 30 days validity whereas IR STV 168 has 90 days validity.
  • Please remember to redo any of these two STVs for extension of International Roaming facility.
  • Check for tariff related information. ( -> Prepaid -> Tariffs and coverage -> Choose the visiting country -> Select operator -> Select currency -> click ok )
  • With the exception of incoming SMS, all international services are payable.
