As Per Latest Information BSNL Blackout Day for prepaid and post-paid mobile subscribers is on Holi (March 2, 2018).

BSNL has declared Holi Day as Blackout Day for both prepaid and postpaid mobile customers.

For both prepaid and post-paid mobile customers, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has designated Holi Day (March 2, 2018) as a Blackout Day. Both prepaid and post-paid mobile customers will not be able to make voice calls or send SMSs at a discounted rate on blackout days.

All voice, roaming, SMS, ISD STVs, Friends and Family Offer, Friends and Family Landline, etc. will be blacked out. this also includes all Voice STVs, such as 135/149/159. A prepaid cell phone client must top up their main account balance in order to make voice calls or send SMS messages on blackout days.
On certain days, customers are urged to take advantage of the current Full Talk Time / Extra Talk Time Offers. However, 2nd March 2018 (Blackout Day) also offers access to BSNL’s Special Combo STVs (Combo STV15, Combo STV77, and Combo STV177) and Unlimited Voice calls/SMS with Plan 186 / 446 (Kerala Plan 446), 949 & 999 (Maximum Plan & Maha Plan), among others.

All 2G and 3G mobile plans come with a free voice or SMS credit at sign-up or on a monthly basis (Plan Voucher Freebies). On blackout days, these discounted freebies won’t be available, and all calls and SMS will still be charged according to their standard tariff plan.

During blackout days, the discounted rates on Voice/SMS STVs (Special Tariff Vouchers), discounted calling offers like “Friend & Family” & “Pyari Jodi,” etc., will also be discontinued. On these blackout days, all of your voice calls and SMS will be paid in accordance with the parent plan.
