Beginning on January 1st, 2021, BSNL will tighten the prepaid top-up freezes. The most recent information is that BSNL prepaid mobile subscribers would only have access to 24 prepaid top-up locations. Customers may need to choose one of the 24 possible top-up denominations in order to raise the balance on their primary account.

Customers of BSNL’s prepaid mobile service can currently top off their prepaid number with any amount starting at Rs. 10, in multiples of Rs. The year 2021 will bring about a shift to this situation. Beginning on January 1, 2021, BSNL will make 24 specific top-up discounts available to prepaid mobile consumers on all Indian telecom lines.

The following was said in an official announcement on the rationalization of top-up denominations for BSNL prepaid mobile customers:-

Top-Up Denominations (total 24) at MRP 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 / 120 / 150 / 200 / 220 / 300 / 500 / 550 / 1000 / 1100 / 2000 / 3000 / 5000 & 6000 only allowed with effect from 01-01-2021, according to the competent authority. For the month of January 2021 only, this will replace any prior approvals for the circles or corporate orders related to Top. Ups. FTT (Full Talk Time) with Top-Up of MRP 120/150/200/230/300/500/550/1000/1100/2000/3000/5000&6000.

The aforementioned rate will be in effect throughout all of India as of January 1, 2021. The tariff shall be implemented in compliance with the 43rd Amendment to the Telecom Tariff Order and any instructions, guidelines, or clarifications that TRAI may issue from time to time.

You might need to add money to your prepaid mobile phone using any of the 24 top-up denominations that are offered. In January 2021, BSNL will additionally offer Full Talk Time advantages on a subset of 12 of the 24 top-up denominations, as seen in the above table.

If FTT (Full Talk Time) top-up denominations are the same throughout 2021, which months?

No, according to BSNL, the FTT offer was only made available for the month of January 2021 on 12 top-up denominations.

As we previously mentioned, BSNL stopped offering any extra call time promotions as of December 1, 2020. Earlier, a variety of extended talk time packages beginning at Rs 550 were made available to BSNL prepaid mobile users. From this December 2020 onward, complete talk time will replace all of those extra talk value options.
