BSNL to launch unlimited FTTH plans from Rs 449 with 300Mbps speed.

BSNL to launch unlimited Bharat Fiber Broadband plans with free OTT subscription.

In order to compete with Jio Fiber, BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) subscribers throughout India may now celebrate as the PSU intends to provide new unlimited Bharat Fiber Broadband plans combined with complimentary OTT subscriptions beginning at Rs 449.

According to the most recent information, the new unlimited Bharat Fiber Plans from BSNL would have a top speed of 300Mbps. Most likely, BSNL will announce the updated planned plans on October 1, 2020, the day it was founded. Fiber Basic, Fiber Value, Fiber Premium, and Fiber Ultra are the four planned plans. Only a few details concerning the recently announced tariff proposals, which are listed below, have leaked to us.

New Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Broadband Plans from BSNL will debut on October 1st, 2020.

While the Fiber Value plan delivers 100 Mbps download speed, the BSNL Bharat Fiber Basic plan will only give 30 Mbps. The PSU also has plans to provide Fiber Premium and Fiber Ultra, two ultra-fast fiber internet subscriptions with download speeds of 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps, respectively. These two more expensive packages will include a complimentary Hot star Premium subscription. All of these plans will provide high FUP use limits that are comparable to those of Jio Fiber plans in terms of the free data usage cap.

However, BSNL only intends to introduce these new fiber internet offerings in a few locations with intense competition. No formal confirmation of the implementation of these plans has been given to us. Prior to its formal introduction on October 1, 2020, the PSU may amend the aforementioned plans.

As we reported on September 14, 2020, BSNL increased the cost of installing Bharat Fiber (FTTH) to Rs 500. This change affects both direct BSNL FTTH connections and connections offered by local cable operators, telecom infrastructure providers, and multi system operators. The majority of BSNL FTTH connections are now offered via LCOs, TIPs, and MSOs. With the aid of these channel partners, the PSU is launching millions of new Bharat Fiber (BSNL FTTH) connections. In order to accept requests from new franchisees to become authorized BSNL Bharat Fiber distributors wherever in India, BSNL has also created an online platform.

Customers may reserve a new BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH – Fiber Broadband) connection using the My BSNL App or the BSNL Book My Fiber Portal. The connections ordered online will either be delivered directly by BSNL or via a local Bharat Fiber distributor who is an authorized representative of BSNL.

Stay tuned, reader; further information regarding these new BSNL Bharat Fiber options will be updated as soon as feasible.
